Maybe you want to grab some colors from an existing website because you think is a great color scheme, or maybe you want to generate a custom color palette with some ‘n’ colors used in an image.

For these cases follow these steps with Colorate 1.2:

1. 1.Open Colorate.
   

2. 2.Click over the Custom icon from the toolbar (or choose Palette  > Custom Palette; Command + L).
   

3. 3.Click over the first palette color patch (the one placed in the top left). This action will open the Mac OS X standard Color Panel.
   

4. 4.In the Color Panel, click the loupe icon (1), using the mouse pointer for clicking over the color you want to capture.
   

5. 5.Click on a different color patch in Colorate and repeat the previous step for capturing other color from the website / graphic.
   

6. 6.Repeat the previous step for adding more colors to the custom Color Palette.
